Beginning with the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series All-Star race at Charlotte Motor Speedway, reigning Daytona 500 champion Matt Kenseth sported the colors of a new sponsor for four races. Fifth Third Bank was the primary sponsor of Kenseth's No. 17 Ford Fusion for the All-Star race and three more races in 2012, including Kentucky, Indianapolis and Michigan. This was first time Fifth Third sponsored a NASCAR driver.
