On August 28, 2016, Kyle Larson became the 186th driver to win a Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race and the second first-time winner of the season when he passed the race leader on the final restart in the second Michigan race. The win secured him a spot in NASCAR®'s postseason for the first time. In the race, Larson piloted Chip Ganassi Racing's No. 42 Target Chevrolet SS. Target, the second largest discount retailer in the U.S., first sponsored his ride when he made his series debut in 2013. The California native and store have worked together ever since with Target returning in 2017 as his primary sponsor. Target and Larson fans will want to add Lionel Racing's latest Action Racing Collectables die-cast to their collection. Each die-cast of the red and white No. 42 Target Chevrolet SS will turn heads no matter where it's placed.
