The product was given to my wife as a gift, since she is the die hard race fan. We both wanted to go to Daytona, but now having a piece of the track at home - we brought the track to us.

I gave this to my 87 year old mother for Christmas, who is a life long race fan and spectator of 35 Daytona 500's, including the 1959 inaugural race. Due to her diminished eye sight now, she wasn't sure what it was at first, but when I explained it to her she was elated! I also was there for that 1959 race on the infield of turn 3-4 which at that time only had a three foot high chain-link fence in the infield grass separating us and the track! I was only seven years old, but I still remember very well. This memento is a true keepsake for both of us. It is small (2x3") but has a nice coin like (probably pueter silver) medallion in the middle, but ever so slightly skewed out of level. It probably wouldn't be noticeable to most people, but I thought a jewelry maker could have placed it perfectly. Anyway...this is just too cool not to own if you're a Daytona fan like we are. Just love it!
PS...Johnny Beauchamp was originally declared the winner and went to victory lane, but three days later with help of news reel photos, Lee Petty was declared the official winner! And the legends continue.

My mom did the ride-along-experience on the Daytona track at 75 years old. She loved it and I wanted part of the track for a momento for her!

Since Jamie McMurray is my favorite driver, I just had to have a piece of the track to display with my 500 Win Hat and Car signed by him. I thought it would be neat to have a piece of the track since he won the last Daytona 500 and race on that track. Also, it is a piece of history for any NASCAR fan.

Had to have this! It is so nice to own a piece of history. This comes with a certificate of authenticity. The actual size is about the size of a business card and the thickness is about 1/4 of an inch. It comes in a nice black box. A great gift for any NASCAR or Rolex 24 Grand Am fan....

I purchased two pieces of the track. One for myself for my birthday and the other for a gift. My parents attended in the race at Daytona 1973 & 1976. My husband, son and I went in 1977. There is no way you could ever imagine way back then that a NASCAR track would be built in Iowa or that my son would grow up and race his bike as a privateer in October of 2001. I was very pleased and excited when I opened up my shipment and can't wait to give the other one to my son for his birthday.
